How to Auto-Execute Scripts

Updated 2026-10-23 · 3 min read

Auto-execute runs your scripts the moment you join a game. Every executor has an autoexec folder — the steps below work for all of them.

Create the auto-execute file

  1. Create a new text file and paste your script into it.
  2. Choose File → Save as.
  3. Save it with quotes and the .luau extension, for example "my script.luau". The quotes stop Windows from adding .txt.
  4. Move the file into your executor's autoexec folder. If there isn't one in the main folder, create a folder named autoexec.

Wait for the game to load

If the game hangs on the loading screen, your script runs too early. Put this at the top:

repeat task.wait() until game:IsLoaded()
task.wait(1)

Scripts that need a key

Put the key line above the loader so the script doesn't ask for it every time:

getgenv().Key = "YOUR-KEY-HERE"
loadstring(game:HttpGet("SCRIPT-URL"))()

Auto-execute doesn't run

  • Check the extension: .luau, not .luau.txt. Turn on File name extensions in File Explorer's View menu to see it.
  • Check the file is in the right executor's folder.
  • If it still doesn't run, wrap the script in a retry loop:
repeat
  task.wait()
  task.spawn(function()
    -- your script here
  end)
  task.wait(20)
until getgenv().Loaded
