How to Install and Activate Volt Executor
Volt is a Windows executor that installs its files into the Roblox version you choose. Setup takes about five minutes: create an account with your key, point Volt at the right Roblox version, install, and play.
Before you start
- Windows 10 or 11 (64-bit).
- A Volt key — 7, 30 or 90 days. Bought from us, it arrives instantly by email.
- Roblox installed from the website (not the Microsoft Store version).
- The Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable (x64 and x86).
Create your account and activate the key
- Download Volt from the official link in your delivery guide and run the installer.
- Open the Volt app and press Create one here to register.
- Enter a username, email, password and your license key, then press Create account.
- Already have a Volt account? Open the license section, paste the new key and press Claim.

- Press Win + R, type
%localappdata%and press Enter. - Open the folder of the launcher you use — Roblox, Bloxstrap or Fishstrap — then open Versions.
- Pick the folder whose name matches the version hash Volt supports right now, and press Select Folder.
- Press the purple Install Now button and wait for the Volt files to download.
- Launch Roblox and join a game.
Run a script
- Open Volt and press the + button.
- Paste your script into the editor.
- Press Run.

- Press the + button and type a name for the auto-execute file, then press Enter.
- Paste this at the top, then your script under it:

task.wait(1)
-- your script belowWaiting for game:IsLoaded() stops the game from hanging on the loading screen when a script starts too early.
Multi-instance
Turn on the multi-instance toggle in Volt, then open your accounts with Roblox Account Manager. See How to run multiple Roblox instances.
Reset your HWID
- Volt key: sign in on the official Volt website, open your account and press Reset HWID. Then relaunch Roblox.
- Script key (you get kicked from a game with an HWID message): reset it in the panel of that script's Discord server, then run the script again.
Troubleshooting
Volt won't attach / inject
- Check that your Roblox version matches the one Volt supports on the status page. If unsure, install a fresh supported version — see How to downgrade Roblox.
- Make sure your antivirus is paused as described in your delivery guide.
- Reinstall the Volt files with Install Now — a broken install is the most common cause.
- Try launching Roblox with a different launcher (Fishstrap, Bloxstrap or the standard client).
