How to Downgrade Roblox for Your Executor

When to downgrade

• Your executor shows a version or build mismatch error (for example Potassium's Channel build mismatch or Wave's version mismatch).
• The executor won't attach right after a Roblox update.
• The status page shows your executor's last update is older than Roblox's current version.

If the status page shows your executor is already updated for the current Roblox version, don't downgrade — just update the executor.

Install the supported version

1. Check which Roblox version your executor supports on the status page.
2. Get that version with WEAO's Roblox version downloader (RDD): choose your executor and press download version. It picks the matching build for you.
3. Unpack the download into a new folder on your desktop.
4. Fully close Roblox and your executor (check the system tray).
5. Open Roblox from the new folder (RobloxPlayerBeta.exe), then open your executor.

Stop Roblox from updating again

The normal Roblox launcher updates itself on every launch. A bootstrapper such as Fishstrap can keep the version you set:

1. Install Fishstrap from its official website.
2. Open Fishstrap and press Configure Settings.
3. Scroll to the bottom, press Change automatically and choose Never Change.

When your executor updates for the new Roblox version, switch auto-updates back on.

Risks

Running an older client can stop some games from loading, and some games kick outdated clients. Update once your executor supports the new version.

No. The downgraded version runs from its own folder. Only reinstall if Roblox itself is broken.
