How to Install and Activate Potassium

Before you start

• Windows 10 or 11 (64-bit) and a Discord account.
• Your Potassium lifetime key.
• The .NET Desktop Runtime and the Visual C++ Redistributables — both x64 and x86.

Register your key

1. Join Potassium's official Discord server (the invite is in your delivery guide).
2. Open the member list, find the PSM bot and send it a direct message.
3. Type /register and fill in any username, a password and your key.
4. Save your password. It can't be recovered or reset, and you should never share it.

Download and log in

1. Send /download to the PSM bot and press Download.
2. Pause your antivirus as described in your delivery guide, then press Continue.
3. Unpack the archive into a new folder on your desktop.
4. Open Potassium, enter your username and password and press Login.
5. Restart your PC once — this matters for the driver.
6. Open Roblox, open Potassium and start scripting.

Reset your HWID

Send /reset hwid to the PSM bot with your username and password.

Troubleshooting

Authentication error

1. Close Potassium completely.
2. Open it again and log in.

Channel build mismatch

1. Your Roblox build doesn't match the one Potassium supports.
2. Get the supported build with WEAO's Roblox version downloader (RDD): choose Potassium and download the version.
3. Unpack it into a new folder, fully close Roblox and Potassium, then open Roblox from that folder.

Not attaching or Roblox crashes

1. Install the .NET Desktop Runtime and the Visual C++ Redistributables (x64 and x86).
2. Use the Roblox version Potassium supports (see the status page).
3. If you launch Roblox with Fishstrap, Bloxstrap, Froststrap or VoidStrap, set the render mode to Direct3D.
4. Add the Potassium folder to your antivirus exclusions.
5. Check the Windows security settings listed in your delivery guide, then restart your PC.
6. Connect through a VPN such as Cloudflare 1.1.1.1 (WARP) or Proton VPN (both free), then try again. Some networks and ISPs block the executor's servers.

Driver already in use

1. Another program is holding the driver — usually another executor or an anti-cheat that starts with Windows.
2. Close it (or disable it from startup), restart your PC and open Potassium again.

Failed to register and start service for driver

1. Security or anti-cheat software is blocking the driver. That includes third-party antivirus and anti-cheats like Riot Vanguard.
2. Follow the security section of your delivery guide, then restart.

Session invalid / Timed out

1. Delete user.bin in the main Potassium folder, or reinstall Potassium fully.

Expired token

1. Restart your PC.
2. Close Potassium and open it again.

Rate limited

1. Too many Roblox windows are open. Close all of them, then reopen Potassium.

Unknown error / SSL connection could not be established

1. These are connection problems.
2. Connect through a VPN such as Cloudflare 1.1.1.1 (WARP) or Proton VPN (both free), then try again. Some networks and ISPs block the executor's servers.

PSM bot says Unknown Integration

1. Allow direct messages from server members in Discord's privacy settings.

Is the Potassium key really lifetime?

Yes. It's a one-time license with no renewals.

I forgot my Potassium password. Can it be reset?

No. Passwords set through the PSM bot can't be recovered, so save yours when you register.

Where do I download Potassium?

Send /download to the PSM bot in Potassium's Discord server after registering your key.
